Steel, copper, and kiln formed glass sculpture featuring Lillian Pitt’s Celestial Ancestor figures, who encircle the sculpture as guardians and guides, welcoming visiting and returning travelers.
Commissioned by the Port of Portland and Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC).

Lillian Pitt’s popular line of Celestial Ancestor figures have been rendered in metal and wood and vary in size from tabletop sculptures to 6-foot freestanding sculptures to a 16-foot-wide exterior building trellis.
